In many marriages, the excitement of first love tends to fade with time. This does not mean that the partners love each other any less. It just means that they need some stimulation to remember and maintain the feelings they used to have for one another. The stimulation is often referred to as romance. Many individuals think that a marriage that appears ordinary lacks love, but this is untrue. Most marriages lack romance.
