Paul wanted to change some situations in his life. He wanted to be able to go into a room full of people and feel confident. He wanted to be in a meeting at work and feel comfortable and go for a bigger contracts so he could earn the extra money for his family to live without penny pinching. But something stopped him.
He’d tried hiding from his failings for a long time, but he admitted he’d got to the point where he now hated himself and was beginning to resent his family. He’d tried a confidence workshop, he’d tried reading books, he’d even tried just throwing himself, inauthentically, into situations. But still, those same old nagging feelings kept coming up.
