The rules of Black Jack are not as hard as you may think. The object of the game is to beat the house. The ultimate goal is to get 21 from the cards that are dealt to you but that does not happen all that often , depending on how many players there are at the table. You want to score more points than the dealer. When you sit at low minimum table ( which is recommended for beginners ) you could be playing one on one with the dealer or there may be other players at the table. Your only focus at this point should be the dealer. Each player players for themselves, they are all playing against the dealer.

In order to play correctly, there will be a box or a circle on the table that will say bets, place your chip bets in the designated spot. If you did not get change at the cage the dealer will be more than happy to provide you with coins. The larger money chips go on the bottom of the pile and the smaller chips go on top. The value of the cards in Black Jack are as follows, the face cards 2 through10 are face value, the Jack, Queen and King are worth ten points and the Ace is worth 1 point or 11 points.
