When I was in high school and the guidance counselor asked me what I wanted to do when I grew up, I would have said “get paid to answer surveys”, had I known it was a career option. Instead, I said that I wanted to be a nurse. I went to school, got my degree and started working at one of the best hospitals in the city. Apparently, I was living out my dream. Except that it certainly didn’t feel like a dream, it felt like a nightmare. I was working long hours and as a result had almost no time with my family. When I did have time with my children, I was too exhausted to enjoy their company. I was constantly in a bad mood and I cried almost every day. This is why, when a friend told me that she was making $3,500 each month filling out online surveys, I had to check into it and see if I could do it too.
