Passing a yearly car inspection is mandatory for many people in certain states. These car inspections are for the safety of those who are driving and riding in the car. During an inspection, the brakes, exhaust system, headlights, brake lights, and other systems will be checked to make sure they are in working order. If the car does not pass the inspection, the parts that failed with have to be replaced. This can be costly depending on the repairs that have to be made. Once the repairs have been made, the car will receive a passing grade, an updated sticker, and the driver will be allowed to drive the car.

It does not matter where these replacement auto parts come from as long as they will fix the problem. You will be able to buy brand new parts, or you can find used parts from junk yards, salvage yards, or online. You can replace the parts yourself and then take the car to be inspected, which will save you money, or you can take the parts to the auto body shop. Auto parts can also be expensive if you cant find them used. Brand new parts may also take a few days to receive, which means your car may be in the shop for a week or longer.
