Kenneth Arnold Chesney was born on March 26, 1968, in Knoxville, Tennessee and raised in Luttrell, Tennessee. Generally speaking, Chesney enjoyed a normal childhood in which he attended Gibbs High School in Corryton, Tennessee and then attended and graduated from East Tennessee State University with a degree in advertising.
