Performing is about your presentation and how you perform in front of an audience, this is what counts your timing and you need to add humor, this is important because you need to distract the audience when performing magic. Get on stage and perform the worst that can happen is that people will laugh and your trick doesnt work out the way you feel it should have. If people laugh just remind yourself that this is part of your performance and continue with the trick. Call yourself a professional and people will assume that you do this full time and have no other source of income. If you are, or consider yourself to be, a magician, are you an amateur, professional or semi-professional.
