Weaponry to Protect, Not to Kill
Though many families have guns hidden away for protection, guns are dangerous. Accidents can occur within the family or in the event of trying to defend the family; the burglar could take the gun from you and murder everyone in the family. Also, there’s often an emotional breakdown if someone is killed, even in self-defense. It’s a good idea to have weaponry that de-mobilizes the burglar, but doesn’t kill them.
