An Everybody Loves Raymond spin-off, The King of Queens revolves around the life and times of Doug Heffernan, a blue-collar, sports fanatic package delivery man who lives in Queens, New York. In his mid-thirties, and married to a beautiful woman named Carrie (Leah Remini), Doug spends the majority of his non-working hours watching his state-of-the-art 70-inch television with two friends who share his devotion to sports, Spence (Patton Oswalt) and Deacon (Victor Williams). But Doug’s male paradise suffers a debilitating blow when Carrie’s father Arthur (Jerry Stiller) moves into the house. Doug’s fantasy TV room is turned into a bedroom, and after numerous failed relocation attempts, the TV finds its way into the garage Now Doug and Carrie are forced to share their palace with an eccentric father/father-in-law with a knack for ruining the couple’s day-to-day routine
